Baqaei said the visit is part of Iran’s ongoing consultations with the Iraqi government and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq aimed at expanding bilateral relations and promoting peace and stability in the region.
During the visit, Talabani is expected to hold talks with senior Iranian officials and exchange views on issues of mutual interest, particularly economic cooperation and border security.
