The NNA said the outskirts of Al-Deir neighborhood in Nabatieh al-Fawqa came under intermittent Israeli artillery shelling in the morning, while Israeli forces also fired machine guns toward Beit Yahoun in the Bint Jbeil district.
Overnight, Israeli artillery also targeted the outskirts of Hadatha in the Bint Jbeil district, the agency reported.
No immediate information was available on casualties or damage from the latest attacks.
The continued Israeli attacks come despite the US-mediated “framework formula” signed by Beirut and Tel Aviv on June 26, which provides for a gradual Israeli withdrawal from occupied Lebanese territory in return for the deployment of the Lebanese army there.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces continue to occupy areas of southern Lebanon, some of which have been held for decades and others seized during the 2023-2024 war, while expanding their presence inside Lebanese territory amid their ongoing assault.
According to Lebanese figures, Israeli attacks in Lebanon since March 2 have killed nearly 4,400 people and injured 12,500 others, underscoring the continued toll of the Israeli campaign despite the ceasefire.
