Local news agencies reported new Israeli air strike on Nabatieh al-Fawqa in southern Lebanon’s Nabatieh governorate.
At least two people were killed in Israeli air strikes on the same municipality yesterday.
Meanwhile, Lebanon’s state-run National News Agency raised the number of people killed in Israeli strikes on Kfar Reman to 11.
The agency reported that nine people, including two infants, were killed in an overnight Israeli strike on a three-story residential building in the southern town, while five others were wounded.
Two other people were also killed in an Israeli drone attack on a civilian vehicle in Kfar Reman, the agency reported.
The victims were identified as two paramedics from the Islamic Scout Association, Ali Shahrour and Hadi Farhat.
Elsewhere, the Israeli regime carried out two bombings in al-Mansouri in southern Lebanon, according to Lebanon’s National News Agency.
Drones dropped “barrels containing highly explosive devices” on the town south of the city of Tyre this morning, the agency said.
The latest attacks come amid a stalled process between Lebanese government and Israeli regime over the implementation of an agreement under which Israel is expected to gradually withdraw from areas it occupies in southern Lebanon.
The last round of talks in Rome between representatives of the Lebanese government and Israeli regime was held in August, with no date set for their resumption or for an eighth round.
Statements from Israeli officials have indicated that they consider the agreement, including the so-called pilot zone process, effectively dead.
Under the agreement, the Zionist should gradually withdraw from areas in southern Lebanon where its forces occupy dozens of villages, while the Lebanese army would replace them and a verification mechanism would be established.
Israel is refusing further withdrawals, with the war minister saying there will be no additional withdrawal unless Hezbollah disarms throughout Lebanon.
Hezbollah has rejected that demand, saying it is prepared to disarm south of the Litani River but not north of it.
