The spiritual ceremony was attended by a group of Iranians residing in Armenia and Shiite Muslims, during which the blessed flag from the sacred shrine of Imam Reza (AS) was displayed for visitors to pay tribute and receive blessings.
Mohammad Asadi Movahed, Iran’s cultural attaché in Armenia, and Hojjatoleslam Rostami, the Friday prayer leader of Yerevan’s Blue Mosque, were among the participants in the ceremony.
During the event, Iran’s Ambassador to Armenia Khalil Shirgholami pointed to the cultural and spiritual status of the Astan Quds Razavi, saying the institution serves as a center of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s soft power.

The envoy added that the cultural activities of Astan Quds Razavi at the international level can play an effective role in strengthening spiritual bonds and introducing the authentic culture of Islamic Iran.
The ambassador also described the presence of the “Under the Shadow of the Sun” caravan in different countries as a valuable initiative aimed at expanding the culture associated with Imam Reza (AS), saying such cultural programs provide significant opportunities for engagement with different communities and for promoting the teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT).
