The head of the Scientific and Cultural Organization of Astan Quds Razavi outlined the themes and priorities of this year’s Ten-Day Karamat celebrations, stressing the importance of sustaining a hopeful social atmosphere and reinforcing the Iranian nation’s deep ties with the teachings of Imam Reza (AS).
The Ten-Day Karamat (generosity) refers to the first ten days of the month of Dhu al-Qa’dah. It begins with the birth anniversary of Hazrat Fatimah Masoumeh (SA) and concludes with the birth anniversary of Imam Ali ibn Musa al-Reza (AS).
In a meeting in Mashhad, Abdolhamid Talebi, head of the organization, elaborated on the central slogan and key cultural priorities for this year, emphasizing the role of promoting the teachings of Imam Reza (AS) under current conditions.
He announced that this year’s theme is “Iran of Imam Reza (AS): United, Powerful, Victorious,” stating that the Ten-Day Karamat provides an opportunity to expand the culture of Imam Reza (AS) across the entire country and expressing hope that the teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) will become more deeply integrated into the social fabric of Iranian life.
Talebi said that in the lead-up to this blessed period, the Iranian people had achieved significant accomplishments through a form of “divine struggle,” attracting global attention, which he characterized as an important step toward civilizational development.
Referring to Iran’s resistance against 40 days of US-Israeli war of aggression, he said the Iranian nation has become a guiding model for all free peoples of the world, adding that a sense of victory has been institutionalized within society.
The official emphasized continuity in cultural programming from previous years, noting that for the third consecutive year, the central focus remains the role of the Imam and the concept of Imamate in society.
Talebi further highlighted three key priorities for this year’s commemorations: maintaining public calm and a hopeful social atmosphere, preserving national cohesion and unity, and strengthening popular participation and engagement.
He also described the active role of women as one of the most prominent features of Iranian society today, noting their visible participation in recent gatherings and social events. He said the creativity, innovation, and field-level involvement of women and girls demonstrate their important contribution to advancing national objectives.
In conclusion, he stressed that national unity and active public engagement are key to preserving strength and sustaining recent achievements of the Iranian nation, adding that the Ten-Day Karamat serves as a peak moment for showcasing the inseparable bond between the people and their spiritual leadership.
