Vance Has Headed to Pakistan Five Times in Past Days

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – A number of American media outlets reported for the umpteenth time that US Vice President JD Vance is on his way to Pakistan.

Politics

This is the fifth time that, according to American media, Vance is heading to Islamabad, Pakistan. But why his plane never reaches its destination is something those same American media outlets should answer.

Over the past days, roughly every six hours, a US media outlet citing “very informed sources” in the White House has reported that Vance (or Witkoff and Kushner) is on the way to Pakistan; however, in none of these instances does Vance arrive in Pakistan, and he is forced to set out again from the beginning.

What will happen in the coming hours or days is still unclear, but so far no change has occurred in the Iranian team’s decision not to participate in the Islamabad talks, and the main reason remains the continuation of the naval blockade and US’ excessive demands.

Nevertheless, American media keep saying that Vance is en route to Pakistan. This media atmosphere and fabrication of news are, more than anything, aimed at controlling global oil prices and confusing public opinion in Iran and around the world, and have no other value.
