US, Israel Attack Iran’s Civilian Energy Infrastructure in Isfahan, Khorramshahr

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – In the continuation of US and Israeli war of aggression, energy infrastructure in Iran’s Isfahan and Khorramshahr was targeted, Iranian media reported.

According to reports, a gas administration building and a gas pressure reduction station on Kaveh Street in Isfahan were struck, causing damage to parts of the facilities and nearby residential homes, highlighting the indiscriminate nature of the aggressive strikes.

Meanwhile, in Khorramshahr in southwest of Iran, a projectile hit an area outside a natural gas pipeline linked to a power plant, with local officials confirming that no casualties were reported and that the attack failed to disrupt essential services.

Separately, Iranian media said electricity supply in Khorramshahr remained stable due to rapid response efforts, underscoring the resilience of Iran’s infrastructure despite continued foreign pressure.

Attacks come after US President Donald Trump threatened to “obliterate” Iran’s power plants if Tehran did not reopen the Strait of Hormuz, a move widely condemned in Iran as coercive and unlawful.

Meanwhile, Iran’s IRGC warned that any attack on Iranian infrastructure would be met with immediate reciprocal strikes targeting regional energy networks and facilities supporting US bases or Israel.

Trump was forced to postpone the US’ threatened strikes on Iranian energy sites for five days, falsely citing "productive" talks, a claim Tehran dismissed as a desperate ploy to regroup and manipulate global energy markets.

While Washington clings to illusions of an impending deal, Iranian officials have firmly rejected any direct negotiations, exposing the US delay as a tactical retreat rather than strength.
