The Public Relations Office of the IRGC announced in a statement that in the early hours of Sunday the IRGC Navy conducted a combined operation involving drones and ballistic missiles targeting the American terrorists’ helicopter base Udairi.
According to the statement, the ballistic missile unit of the IRGC Navy precisely struck the American base’s helicopter preparation and maintenance centers, fuel storage tanks for helicopters and aircraft, and the command building of the base. These facilities were severely destroyed.
The IRGC noted that following the assault, a massive fire broke out at the base, and thick black plume of smoke is still rising from the site, visible from long distances.
The United States and the Zionist regime launched a large-scale military campaign against Iran following the assassination of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, along with several senior military commanders and civilians on February 28.
The attacks have involved extensive aerial strikes on both military and civilian locations across Iran, causing significant casualties and widespread damage to infrastructure.
In response, the Iranian Armed Forces have carried out retaliatory operations, targeting American and Israeli positions in the occupied territories and at regional bases with waves of missiles and drones.
