IRGC Navy’s Suicide Drones Playing Major Role in Attacks on US Bases

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – As Operation True Promise 4 against American and Israeli targets continues, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Navy’s suicide drones keep playing a major role in the war.

Defense

An important development seen on the fourth day of war on Tuesday was a division of tasks between the IRGC Aerospace Force and the IRGC Navy.

Based on what is witnessed in the process of operations, the IRGC Navy has been tasked with targeting US bases in the Persian Gulf.

Over the past four days, the US air defense operations have face challenges in full protection of American bases in the region.

Meanwhile, Iran has put it on its agenda to use suicide drones as an effective and low-cost means to attack enemy targets.

The IRGC Navy, which possesses a large number of them, has undertaken the task of carrying out operations against US bases using these drones.

The 14th and 15th waves of the IRGC’s operations were conducted by the IRGC Navy, focusing on the maritime front and the US bases in southern Persian Gulf.
