During the call, Araqchi briefed his Saudi counterpart on the latest developments regarding the nuclear negotiations between Iran and the US.
The two top diplomats also examined bilateral relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia.
The Saudi foreign minister expressed appreciation for the explanations provided by Araqchi.
Prince Faisal bin Farhan further expressed hope that the ongoing negotiations would continue until a successful outcome is achieved.
