Baqeri Kani said Saudi Defense Minister Khalid bin Salman, Pakistani Army Chief General Asim Munir and Turkish intelligence chief Ibrahim Kalin would take part in the meeting during their visit to the Iranian capital.

He added that Field Marshal Asim Munir has announced the decision by senior officials from Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Pakistan to visit Tehran during a meeting with Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Mohsen Rezaei. Munir has also said that the officials would meet with Rezaei and attend a joint session, Baqeri Kani added.

Baqeri Kani stressed that all three countries participating in the meeting could work alongside Iran to take an effective step toward establishing endogenous regional security by drawing on Iran’s successful experience in ensuring national security during the war of aggression imposed by the US and the Israeli regime.
