Protests were reported in Idlib, Homs, Damascus, Daraa, Quneitra and along the Syrian coast, with demonstrators condemning Israeli military incursions into Syrian territory, particularly in the country’s south.
The demonstrations reflected growing opposition to the Israeli regime’s military operations in Syria, which have intensified since the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s government.
The demonstrations drew significant participation and extended well beyond areas near the border, reaching several regions far from Israeli military activity.
The protests followed an Israeli military incursion into Jamla, where occupation forces reportedly searched civilian homes and deployed snipers on residential rooftops.
During the operation, Israeli forces shot and killed a young man with a disability, triggering demonstrations in Daraa and other parts of Syria.
The killing further intensified public anger over Israel’s criminal actions and the continued presence of occupation forces on Syrian territory.
