IRGC Navy’s Decisive Action Halts Violations by Offending Vessels: Source

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – An informed source said violations by offending vessels in Iran’s southern waters have completely ceased following decisive action by the IRGC Navy, including strikes on three oil tankers on Thursday.

Politics

The informed source close to the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Navy announced on Friday that the movement of non-compliant vessels has been completely halted following the destruction of navigational aid systems serving the offending vessels, the striking of three oil tankers yesterday, and the destruction of another non-compliant oil tanker last night.

The informed source stated that if oil smuggling resumes, action against non-compliant vessels and the technical systems assisting them will be far more forceful.

The source also warned that any renewed aerial intervention by the US military in support of oil smuggling would receive a direct and more decisive response, adding that the consequences would be borne by the aggressor US military.
