In a telephone conversation with his Saudi counterpart Faisal bin Farhan on Sunday evening, the two top diplomats discussed the latest developments in the region.
Araqchi expressed concern over escalating tensions, stressing that insisting on a military approach and disregarding a political solution would further complicate the existing situation.
He also emphasized that the ongoing crises in the region have no military solution, reiterating Iran’s readiness to provide any assistance to help launch dialogue between Saudi Arabia and Yemen and facilitate a political settlement.
