The ministry said that the wounded included two Syrian women.
Lebanon’s state-run National News Agency (NNA) reported that the Israeli drone targeted a car.
The area has largely been spared similar attacks since a ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah was agreed in June, the agency added.
Meanwhile, the Israeli regime’s military claimed it had targeted “a Syrian terrorist”, alleging that the man “planned and advanced attacks” against Israeli forces in southern Syria.
Since the ouster of former Syrian president Bashar al-Assad in December 2024, the Israeli regime has carried out hundreds of strikes against Syria.
It has also deployed occupation forces into a UN-patrolled buffer zone that had separated Israeli and Syrian forces in the Golan Heights since 1974, while repeatedly pushing deeper into Syrian territory and, in some cases, seizing residents.
In Lebanon, the Israeli regime has continued its attacks despite the ceasefire agreement with Hezbollah reached in June.
The regime has also vowed to keep its troops in what it calls security zones along its borders with both Syria and Lebanon.
