The official Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) reported that 10 Israeli military vehicles moved into areas located in the Damascus countryside.
The report said the ground incursion took place as Israeli army artillery had been continuously targeting locations in the area since the morning.
Meanwhile, Syrian media reported that Israeli forces also advanced toward the vicinity of Ras al-Halabi village in the south-western Syrian province of Quneitra, where they established a checkpoint.
Field sources reported extensive Israeli military movements along Syria’s southern axis, describing the developments as part of the Israeli regime’s continued violation of Syrian sovereignty.
Separately, reports from border areas in Syria said the Israeli regime has continued carrying out military operations in the Damascus countryside and Quneitra province.
The reported actions, including the entry of tanks and armored vehicles as well as violations of Syrian airspace, are described by Syrian sources as part of Israeli efforts to establish a buffer zones and consolidate its presence in southern Syria.
The developments come as these actions have become a recurring pattern, with critics of the current Syrian authorities under Ahmed al-Jolani accusing the administration of adopting a passive approach toward Israel.
Political observers cited in Syrian reports said the absence of a deterrent response has created conditions allowing the Zionist regime to expand its military positions and establish new security corridors inside Syrian territory.
