A series of Hebrew-language media outlets also reported that, following the incident, in addition to emergency and firefighting teams, several experts were dispatched to the site to determine the cause of the malfunctions. However, the investigations have so far yielded no results.
The incident, in addition to shutting down industrial units in the area, caused a widespread power outage lasting several hours, which prompted protests from local residents.
