Saree said the Saudi warplanes, which took off from the Khamis Mushait air base, bombed various areas in the two provinces 37 times during the 24-hour period.
The attacks inflicted further casualties among Yemeni civilians, according to the spokesman.
Meanwhile, Ansarullah leader Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi said Saudi Arabia continues its aggression and siege against Yemen under US supervision and with Israeli incitement, stressing that the Yemeni people remain committed to confronting a prolonged campaign against their country.

Al-Houthi said Saudi Arabia had continued seeking to push Yemen toward collapse and desperation even during the period of “de-escalation.”
He stressed that Yemen had never initiated the war and remained in a position of “defense,” saying the latest escalation began with Saudi airstrikes on Sanaa airport, which he said had no legitimate justification.
Al-Houthi accused Saudi Arabia of disregarding civilian life throughout the 12-year conflict, saying its forces had targeted markets, homes, hospitals and schools and killed thousands of Yemeni women and children.
He said the Saudi leadership views weakening, subjugating and suppressing the Yemeni people as essential to maintaining its power and pursuing its ambitions, including by restricting their freedom, disrupting their security and sowing division among them.
The Ansarullah leader said the Yemeni people had refused to surrender their rights and had resisted the aggression, stressing that their attacks had been directed only at Saudi military bases and oil facilities.
Al-Houthi also rejected Saudi allegations that Yemen had targeted Mecca as “a very big, ugly and heinous lie,” saying the claim had been repeatedly promoted in the hope of gaining acceptance.
He further accused Saudi Arabia of seeking a direct war that would draw all regional parties into the conflict.
Al-Houthi called on Muslim nations to oppose the Saudi exploitation of Mecca to advance its aggression against the Yemeni people.
