IRGC Missiles Strike US Airbase in Jordan

The IRGC Public Relations Department said in a statement early on Wednesday that the US’s base in Jordan was struck with a missile barrage launched by the IRGC Aerospace Force.

“The defeated terrorist and aggressor army of the United States attacked several commercial and oil ships of Islamic Iran out of desperation,” the statement said, referring to an earlier attack by US forces.

In retaliation for the US aggressive attack on Iranian oil tankers, the powerful and brave warriors of the Aerospace Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps carried out an the operation to punish the aggressor, subjected the American base in Jordan to fierce missile strikes, it said.

In this operation, solid and liquid fuel ballistic missiles targeted the shelters and hangars for maintenance, preparation and deployment of F-35, F-16, F-15 aircraft, causing heavy damage to the enemy, the IRGC added.

“Faced with the heroic and powerful naval force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in the Strait of Hormuz, the enemy, from a position of helplessness, desperation and weakness, took desperate actions and immediately received a decisive response,” the statement emphasized, adding that the vigilance and decisive battle of the fighters of the Iranian Armed Forces against the enemy has made the aggressors desperate day by day.

“This powerful battle will continue,” the IRGC reiterated.
