Iran Army Ground Force Ready for Any Enemy Scenario: Commander

During a visit to the western border units of the Army Ground Force, Brigadier General Ali Jahanshahi said the forces are prepared for any scenario of the enemies.
Referring to the strategic importance of ensuring the security of the borders of the country even more than before, he said the Army Ground Force units are stationed throughout the country’s borders in order to protect the independence, security and territorial integrity of the Islamic Republic of Iran and are fully prepared to confront any threat, aggression and land invasion.
Protecting the borders is one of the basic and permanent missions of the Army Ground Force, the commander said, adding that the powerful and vigilant presence of the armed forces on the borders plays an important role in ensuring the security and tranquility of the people and protecting the territorial integrity of the country, and in this direction, maintaining combat readiness and continuous vigilance is an undeniable necessity.
In another part of his remarks, he pointed out the importance of the Army Ground Force Special Forces brigades and the need to continually maintain and improve their combat readiness, appropriate to various threats and operational conditions.
Brigadier General Jahanshahi described the mission of the Special Forces units in the current situation as sensitive and emphasized that in addition to carrying out assigned missions, the Ground Forces units are constantly monitoring developments and maintaining their comprehensive readiness, and are on the lookout for and confronting any potential threat.
The missions of the Special Forces units are defined based on rapid response, high mobility, the ability to carry out operations, and readiness to be present in various operational conditions, he noted.
Emphasizing the need to continue specialized training and improve the operational capabilities of units, he said combat readiness must be continuous, real, and appropriate to the type of missions, and the armed forces must always be at the highest level of readiness to carry out assigned missions.
