Education Minister Alireza Kazemi told reporters that more than 13,000 new classrooms are currently being prepared for students, describing the scale of the expansion of educational facilities as unprecedented.
He added that more than 80,000 classrooms across the country have also been renovated and upgraded, while 10,000 classrooms have been equipped using the latest standards and modern educational technologies.
The minister also announced measures to strengthen the infrastructure supporting online education, saying 100 new servers had been added to the ‘Shad’ network, Iran’s online education platform.
He said the move is aimed at ensuring that the Ministry of Education is fully prepared for any scenario and can guarantee the uninterrupted continuation of education across the country.
