The spokesman for the forces affiliated with the Saudi-backed mercenaries announced the launch of a new round of drone and missile attacks by Yemen’s armed forces on their positions, claiming that the coalition’s air defenses were confronting the attacks.
Meanwhile, Hazam al-Asad, a member of the political bureau of Yemen’s Ansarullah movement, said the large volume of weapons and ammunition stored at the base was the main reason for the continued explosions and the inability to contain the flames.
He added that the large weapons shipments were intended to be used to intensify the blockade and continue military aggression against the Yemeni people.
Al-Asad said that the port of Mokha is currently witnessing huge columns of smoke and a series of explosions, indicating a heavy and strategic blow to the military infrastructure of the aggressor coalition.
Yemen also released footage showing the moment several missiles and drones were launched at gatherings of Saudi military personnel and their weapons depots in Mokha.
