Speaking on Tuesday during a speech commemorating Arbaeen, marking 40 days since Ashura, Sheikh Qassem said Lebanon must remain a unified country and rejected any concessions regarding its territory.
"We believe in one united Lebanon that cannot be divided and cannot give up its land," Sheikh Qassem said, stressing that "the Israeli entity has only one option: a complete withdrawal, and it will ultimately be forced to do so."
The Lebanese Resistance leader said the region is facing US-Israeli aggression on Lebanon, Gaza, Iran, Iraq, and Yemen, with the aim of weakening and eliminating Resistance movements.
He said the aim of the Israeli aggression against Lebanon in September 2024 was to end Hezbollah's presence and its movement in the country.
"We confronted them in the People of Might battle, and we were able to continue, and we forced them into an agreement that makes resistance a right, with their goal still unreached," Sheikh Qassem said.
He continued that after that, the Zionist regime relied for 15 months on gradual attempts to weaken the movement through various means, yet it was met with preparation, popular support, and the strength of Hezbollah fighters, Al Mayadeen reported.
Sheikh Qassem said the US-Iran memorandum of understanding was the factor behind reducing the intensity of the aggression against Lebanon.
"Iran worked to ensure that Lebanon was included in the memorandum's first clause, making an end to the aggression and an Israeli withdrawal key conditions," he said.
Hezbollah's chief added that "the path of the memorandum of understanding is what will achieve the Israeli withdrawal," while emphasizing that no progress would have been possible without the Resistance's endurance.
Addressing direct negotiations between Lebanese authorities and the Israeli regime, the secretary-general said they had only brought Lebanon "shame, humiliation, disappointment, and successive concessions."
He said the Israeli regime had gained political benefits from the negotiations but would not achieve military objectives as long as the Resistance exists.
In this context, Sheikh Qassem called on Lebanese authorities to put an end to "free concessions", engage in dialogue with the Resistance, restore internal conditions, and focus on sovereignty.
"Shouldn't the systematic destruction ongoing in the villages and towns of the South be a reason to end talks with the Israeli entity?" he asked.
He also affirmed that attacks against Lebanon had taken place under US supervision, management, and approval.
Sheikh Qassem stressed the importance of internal unity, saying that the relationship between Hezbollah and the Amal Movement represents a barrier against the enemy.
"We are committed to it, and the great unity between Hezbollah and the Amal Movement is an impenetrable barrier against the enemy," he said.
He added that a majority of Lebanese people support resistance, liberation, national sovereignty, and the Army, calling on those relying on the United States and Israel to support national unity and reject occupation.
Amid ongoing Israeli attacks and violations, Sheikh Qassem said Hezbollah understands the suffering of the affected families and pledged continued efforts to support them.
"We understand that what happened to our people is painful and heartbreaking, and we feel for you and are living through this with you. We will do everything in our power to provide shelter and ensure reconstruction," he said.
"This is a promise and a commitment," the Resistance leader affirmed.
Sheikh Qassem also emphasized the importance of a positive and cooperative relationship between Lebanon and Syria, saying stability in one country supports the stability in the other.
"A stable Syria is a pillar of support for Lebanon, just as a stable Lebanon is a pillar of support for Syria," he said, adding that Hezbollah has no objection to a public meeting with the Syrian leadership when the time is appropriate.
On the war against Iran, Sheikh Qassem said the Islamic Republic had emerged victorious and that there was no longer any debate over the outcome of the confrontation.
He described Iran as an important and influential state whose presence affects developments globally.
Hezbollah's chief also said the leadership of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Mojtaba Khamenei would contribute to further victories and the achievement of future objectives.
Concluding his speech, Sheikh Qassem said Hezbollah would continue supporting Gaza and Palestine, calling for resistance against the ongoing aggression.
"We will not forget Gaza and Palestine, and we must stand against this brutal aggression," he said, while praising Iraq and Yemen for supporting shared causes against a "common enemy".
