Highlighting the capabilities of the Iranian Navy, Rear Admiral Sayyari said on Wednesday that the force is in a strong state of readiness and that its personnel maintain full control over the eastern Strait of Hormuz, the northern Indian Ocean and the Sea of Oman.
The general noted that the personnel of the Iranian Navy maintain a resolute presence in the West Asia region, adding that Iran's naval forces "stand firm" and that no movement takes place in these strategic waters without their authorization.
The deputy Army chief also referred to the country's border security, saying security along all of Iran's land, maritime and air borders is stable and satisfactory.
