In a message issued on Thursday following the funeral ceremonies for the martyred Leader, Major General Abdollahi said the unprecedented participation of millions of mourners in Iran and Iraq demonstrated the resolve of the Islamic Ummah and free people around the world.
The commander warned the United States and the Zionist regime not to mistake the grief of the Iranian nation for weakness.
He said the sorrow and anger arising from Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei’s martyrdom would continue to fuel the pursuit of justice against those responsible for assassinating the Leader of the Muslim Ummah and other victims of the second and third imposed wars.
The commander stressed that Iran’s Armed Forces, relying on God and backed by Muslim nations and freedom-seeking people, would take revolutionary action that would "deprive the enemy of sleep" and ensure that the perpetrators of the "terrorist crimes" are brought to justice "sooner or later."
