Speaking to IRIB on Thursday, the source said the withdrawal of the Zionist regime from southern Lebanon is one of the conditions for the final agreement and is regarded by the Iranian side as an important red line.

The source also stressed that the final memorandum of understanding guarantees Lebanon’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The source added that this issue was emphasized in the Switzerland text as part of the implementation mechanism for de-confliction cell with Iran’s participation, and that Iran is pursuing a timetable for its implementation.

The source finally said that the volume of Israeli attacks on Lebanon has declined significantly over the past six days, indicating that Iran’s measures have been effective, but emphasized that the Islamic Republic will not be satisfied with anything short of a permanent ceasefire and the complete withdrawal of the Israeli regime from Lebanon.
