In a statement marking Khordad 23 (June 13), the first anniversary of Operation True Promise III and the imposed war launched by the Zionist regime against Iran, the IRGC described the date as one of the most decisive and glorious chapters in the contemporary history of the Islamic Republic.
The statement said the war of aggression had been imposed by enemies seeking to weaken Iran’s deterrent power, break the nation’s will, undermine the political system, and fragment the country.
The US-Israeli front had attempted to simultaneously employ military, security, intelligence, media, economic and cognitive warfare tools to halt Iran’s path toward dignity, independence and progress, but ultimately failed in its strategic calculations, it added.
The IRGC described Operation True Promise III as more than a military campaign, describing it as a manifestation of national determination, a demonstration of civilizational strength, and a symbol of Iran’s resilience against the united front of global arrogance and Zionism.
It said the strategic operation had been carried out in successive waves using advanced missile, drone, intelligence, cyber and operational capabilities and had exposed the vulnerabilities of the enemy while altering regional security equations in favor of the Islamic Republic.
The statement further argued that the operation led to the collapse of the inflated image of power projected by the Israeli regime and its extra-regional supporters, particularly the United States, and demonstrated Iran’s indigenous deterrence capabilities and the Armed Forces’ ability to respond decisively.
The IRGC added that drawing on the experience of the Sacred Defense and the historic 12-day and 40-day imposed wars, Iran today stands stronger, more prepared, and equipped with greater deterrent capabilities than before.
It stressed that the Islamic Republic maintains full awareness of the adversaries’ movements and remains with its finger on the trigger, ready to respond firmly and without delay to any threat, attack, aggression, or enemy miscalculation.
