In a statement released on Thursday, the IRGC offered condolences on the martyrdom of two Hamas commanders, Muhammed Awda and Izz al-Din al-Haddad.
The statement said that the martyrdom of Awda along with his wife Umm Amr and his three children Yasser, Yahya and Jamila in an Israeli airstrike on Gaza City, as well as the martyrdom of Izz al-Din al-Haddad, one of the commanders of the Martyr Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades who fought the Zionists for nearly four decades, once again revealed the savage and devilish nature of the evil, executioner and terrorist Zionist regime.
The list of crimes of the fake and usurping Zionist regime over the past eight decades once again emphasizes this truth to the world of humanity, especially those who claim human rights and the freedom of nations, the statement emphasized. “Unless this child-killing and evil regime is wiped off the face of the earth, the West Asia region will not find peace, and the so-called peace plans that the evil and gambling president of America talks about are nothing but killing, murder, and terror.”
Referring to the stand of the oppressed people of Gaza and the fighters of Hamas, the statement emphasized that the martyrdom of these proud commanders will not only not weaken the resistance, but will lead to the continuation of Jihad until the liberation of Palestine and al-Quds.
The statement also reiterated the continued support of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the IRGC for the axis of resistance.
