Munir, who traveled to Tehran for discussions and exchanges of views with Iranian officials, held lengthy talks with Araqchi that continued late into the night.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the latest diplomatic efforts and initiatives aimed at preventing further escalation and ending the imposed war by the United States and the Zionist regime against Iran.
They also exchanged views on ways to strengthen peace, stability, and security in the West Asia region.
Field Marshal Asim Munir departed for Tehran on Friday to discuss the Iran-US talks. It marked his second trip to Tehran amid Pakistani mediation efforts aimed at helping bring an end to the US-Israeli war of aggression, which began on February 28.
