Leader’s Aide Warns Iran’s Restraint Not Unlimited

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – An adviser and aide to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution warned that Iran’s restraint following recent regional developments “will not last forever”, slamming certain Persian Gulf states for placing their territory at the disposal of the enemies of Iran.

In a message on his X account, Mohammad Mokhber reacted to recent political developments in the Persian Gulf region.

“Iran looked at them as friends and brothers for years, but by pre-selling their independence, they even placed their soil and homes at the disposal of the enemies of Palestine and Iran,” he wrote.

Mokhber further stated that “the Islamic Republic’s response to CENTCOM’s rented-out bases during the recent war was not full-blown,” adding, “But this restraint will certainly not last forever.”

On February 28, the United States and the Israeli regime launched an unprovoked war of aggression against Iran, during which then Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei and several senior military officials were martyred.

Iranian Armed Forces responded with weeks of missile and drone strikes targeting American and Israeli military positions in the occupied territories and the Persian Gulf region, inflicting heavy damages in 100 waves of counterattacks over a period of 40 days.

Iran’s retaliation also featured the country’s closing the strategic Strait of Hormuz to vessels belonging to enemies and their allies.
