In a message posted on his X account, Araqchi said the real economic consequences of military confrontation with Iran have yet to fully emerge, arguing that Americans are being forced to absorb the escalating costs of war.
“Americans are told that they must absorb rocketing costs of war of choice on Iran,” the Iranian foreign minister said.
“Put aside gas price hike and stock market bubble. Real pain begins when US debt and mortgage rates start to jump. Auto loan delinquencies are already at 30+-year high,” Araqchi noted, adding, “This was all avoidable.”
