Reports That Iran Agreed to Nuclear Material Withdrawal Are False, Source Says

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Claims circulating in Western media that Iran has agreed to remove its enriched nuclear material from the country are completely false, according to an informed source.

Nuclear

The source, who is close to the Iranian negotiating team, told Tasnim that contrary to the claims of some Western media outlets, there is no such thing as Iran’s acceptance of the withdrawal of enriched nuclear material from the country in the text Iran’s proposal submitted in response to the US.

The informed source also said that Iran has set a specific time limit in its proposal for receiving its frozen funds.

The source emphasized that the US had written in its proposal that it would release Iran’s frozen funds, but Iran has emphasized that these funds must be released within a specific period.

According to the source, the claim of some fake news outlets that Iran has proposed a 15-year moratorium on nuclear enrichment in its proposal is also completely false and is for psychological operations.
