The spokesperson for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbia Central Headquarters said on Tuesday evening that the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran had not conducted any missile or drone operation against the United Arab Emirates in recent days.
He categorically rejected a report issued by the UAE’s Defense Ministry, saying the allegations were entirely false and devoid of any truth.
The spokesperson stated that if Iran had carried out any such operation, the country would have announced it clearly and decisively.
He also warned Emirati officials against allowing their country to become a base for American and Zionist forces and their military equipment, saying an Islamic country should not serve as a haven for powers viewed as enemies of the Muslim world.
According to the spokesperson, Emirati authorities should avoid falling into the “trap” of the United States and the Zionist regime and should refrain from engaging in media campaigns, accusations, and propaganda against the Iranian nation instead of confronting aggressors.
The UAE has unfortunately turned into one of the main bases for American and Israeli forces in the region and has become a major hub for the deployment of their troops and military equipment, he added.
The spokesman added that media campaigns, accusations, and attempts at portraying victimhood would not resolve problems or help improve the international atmosphere.
He said Iran’s restraint in the face of the UAE’s assistance to the enemies of the Islamic Ummah and Iran had so far been exercised solely out of concern for the security and well-being of Muslims living in that Arab country.
He warned that if any action is launched from Emirati territory against Iranian islands, ports, or coastlines, Tehran would deliver a “crushing and regret-inducing response.”
