During a visit to Zanjan Province, Mohammad Reza Zafarqandi assessed the status of healthcare services and the drug supply chain in the province.
The Minister of Health, Treatment, and Medical Education also pointed to the current conditions in the country and the potential risk of damage to healthcare facilities from military attacks by the US and the Israeli regime, stating, "Fortunately, based on past experiences and crisis management predictions, we are currently not facing any shortages of medicine and medical equipment in the country."
He further noted that with the measures taken and necessary directives issued, the management of supply and distribution of medicines and equipment in the affected provinces, including Tehran, Isfahan, and Kermanshah, has been carried out effectively, and no shortages have been reported so far.
