The IRGC Public Relations Department announced on Monday, April 6, that Major General Majid Khademi had been martyred earlier this morning during a terrorist attack by the American-Zionist enemy in the ongoing war of aggression.
According to the statement, Major General Khademi has recorded significant, enduring, and instructive contributions over nearly half a century of sincere and courageous guardianship of the Revolution, the system, and the Islamic homeland in the fields of intelligence and security.
The IRGC noted that the martyr’s efforts can serve as a guiding light for the country's intelligence community for many years to come, especially in confronting foreign enemies at strategic levels and their malicious and devilish schemes aimed at infiltration and creating instability in the security and tranquility of proud Iran.
The US and the Israeli regime launched a large-scale unprovoked military campaign against Iran following the assassination of then Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, along with several senior military commanders and civilians on February 28.
The attacks have involved extensive aerial strikes on both military and civilian locations across Iran, causing significant casualties and widespread damage to infrastructure.
In response, the Iranian Armed Forces have carried out retaliatory operations, targeting American and Israeli positions in the occupied territories and at regional bases with waves of missiles and drones.
