Iran Vows Severe Retaliation for Israeli Attacks on Infrastructure

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi issued a stern warning following the Israeli regime’s attacks on key Iranian facilities, including steel factories and nuclear sites.

In a post on his X account on Friday, Araqchi condemned the Israeli regime's recent military actions, which he said were conducted with US support.

“Israel has hit 2 of Iran's largest steel factories, a power plant and civilian nuclear sites among other infrastructure. Israel claims it acted in coordination with the US,” Araqchi said.

“Attack contradicts POTUS extended deadline for diplomacy,” he added.

“Iran will exact HEAVY price for Israeli crimes,” the top Iranian diplomat warned.

The US and the Israeli regime launched a large-scale unprovoked military campaign against Iran following the assassination of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, along with several senior military commanders and civilians on February 28.

The attacks have involved extensive aerial strikes on both military and civilian locations across Iran, causing significant casualties and widespread damage to infrastructure.

In response, the Iranian Armed Forces have carried out retaliatory operations, targeting American and Israeli positions in the occupied territories and at regional bases with waves of missiles and drones.
