TEHRAN (Tasnim) - In a recent report, the US Congress has highlighted the alarming depletion of Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) stockpiles.

What follows is a narrative of the war section of the Hebrew website of Tasnim News Agency, released on Thursday:

Recently, the US Congress has published a comprehensive report on the status of the US Army's air defense in the ongoing war with Iran. According to this report, the Americans have lost one-third of their air defense munitions, namely the THAAD (Terminal High Altitude Area Defense) system. In addition, several THAAD radar systems have been destroyed, and they are unable to replace them, as such replacements require several years.

As a result, US military bases in the southern Persian Gulf are now left defenseless against Iranian missile attacks. At the same time, Iran, after neutralizing the air defense systems in Israel, is now focusing on the destruction of factories manufacturing defense system, missiles, and radars.

After the destruction of the air defense systems, their production lines in Israel are facing a serious threat of complete annihilation.
