The Egyptian foreign minister, for his part, elaborated on Cairo's latest consultations with regional and international actors aimed at reducing tensions in the region.
The foreign ministers of Iran and Egypt also emphasized the importance of continuing consultations between their countries.
The US and the Israeli regime launched a large-scale unprovoked military campaign against Iran following the assassination of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, along with several senior military commanders and civilians on February 28.
