Israeli Power Grid Fragility Exposed as Iran Warns of Decisive Retaliation

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – An Israeli electricity contractor warned that life in Israel would become impossible without power, underscoring the vulnerability of the US-backed regime’s critical infrastructure.

Shaul Goldstein, CEO of Noga Energy, the operator of Israel’s independent grid system, said: “Without electricity, life in Israel will be impossible.”

“After 72 hours without electricity in Israel, life here will be impossible,” he added.

Meanwhile, Iran has warned that any attack on its energy facilities will be met with the destruction of energy and oil infrastructure across the region and within the Israeli regime.

Iranian officials have stressed that even the smallest damage to the country’s energy infrastructure would trigger overwhelming retaliation, declaring that “the only light in the sky over Israel will be the light of Iranian missiles.”

In a related development, a Hebrew-language report said the fourth week of the war is beginning as dynamics shift into a new phase shaped by Iran’s calculated military strategy.

Over the past three weeks, Iranian strikes have been designed and executed with a primary focus on weakening — and in some cases paralyzing — Israel’s air defense systems, a phase that has achieved significant results.

Now, signs of a new approach are emerging, including the use of different weapons, more complex offensive tactics, and the selection of targets that were not previously prioritized.

At this stage, the focus extends beyond penetrating defensive layers to preventing their reconstruction and disrupting military support infrastructure.

The apparent objective is to impose long-term and serious challenges on Israel’s operational capabilities, not only on the battlefield but also across logistical and support layers essential for sustaining war.

Meanwhile, Iran’s Armed Forces are reported to be at a high level of readiness, with clear warnings that any action against Iran’s energy infrastructure will be met with a swift and wide-ranging response.

The message, according to the report, is explicit, indicating that even minimal damage to Iran’s energy facilities would lead to the destruction of Israel’s energy infrastructure under Iranian missile strikes, leaving “the only light in the sky over Israel” as “the light of Iranian missiles.”
