Path of Iran’s Martyred Intelligence Minister Will Continue

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Iranian Ministry of Intelligence confirmed the martyrdom of Intelligence Minister Esmaeil Khatib, stressing that his path will continue until the creation of a new Islamic civilization.

In a statement on Wednesday, the ministry’s public relations department said that Khatib, who spent the blessed life and blessed moments of his precious life dedicated to ensuring the security of the people and the Islamic homeland and waving the proud flag of Islam and Iran, has achieved martyrdom.

It said that in his life of silent struggle, with a spirit and behavior full of spirituality, ethics, and piety, Khatib provided countless and valuable services to the people and the homeland, on the path of safeguarding the national security of the Islamic Republic and securing the goals and national interests of the country.

The statement also highlighted the martyred minister’s unquestioning obedience to the orders and instructions of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution.

“God willing, the path and teachings of that great intelligence commander will continue until the creation of a new Islamic civilization,” it stated.

Khatib served as Iran’s minister of intelligence from August 2021 until his martyrdom.
