In a statement released on Tuesday night, the spokesman highlighted several rounds of attacks that the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) and the Iranian Army launched against the US and Israeli forces on March 17.
He stated that precision-strike ballistic missiles, including Khorramshahr, Qadr, Fattah, Khaybar-shekan, Fateh, and Qiam, as well as suicide drones have been employed in attacks on Israeli military and security sites across the occupied territories.
The spokesman noted that the “origins of American aggression” against Iran have been also struck by missiles and drones across the region, pointing to successful missile attacks on several US military bases in the neighboring countries.
He emphasized that a new stage of effective and crushing strikes against the US and Israeli enemies has commenced as the Iranian attacks have gained momentum.
The US and the Zionist regime launched a large-scale unprovoked military campaign against Iran following the assassination of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, along with several senior military commanders and civilians on February 28.
The attacks have involved extensive aerial strikes on both military and civilian locations across Iran, causing significant casualties and widespread damage to infrastructure.
In response, the Iranian Armed Forces have carried out retaliatory operations, targeting American and Israeli positions in the occupied territories and at regional bases with waves of missiles and drones.
