Iran’s Defiance Exposes Limits of US Military Might: Russian Media

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – A leading Russian outlet said Iran’s unmatched resilience against US-Israeli aggression exposes the overrated might of the US, while an American publication challenged Trump’s false claims about economic dependence on the Strait of Hormuz.

World

The Russian state channel Russia Today highlighted Iran’s ability to repel Western threats, stating: "Iran demonstrates to the world the true limits of America’s power."

In the meantime, a US media outlet quizzed Trump’s claim that global oil markets aren’t reliant on Hormuz, just minutes after he asserted that the US is not responsible to single-handedly secure it and other nations must aid with the US adventurism in the Persian Gulf region.

The Wall Street Journal has also warned Trump that halting Persian Gulf oil flows would worsen global energy crises—contradicting his rhetoric.

"American oil firms cautioned the administration," the journal reported: "Disrupting Hormuz transit would deepen global shortages."
