In the 40th statement after the launch of the retaliatory Operation True Promise 4, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps announced on Sunday that the IRGC Navy has conducted precise and devastating strikes on four airbases of American terrorist forces simultaneously.
During the massive and coordinated operation, the IRGC Navy’s missile and drone units struck the command-and-control centers, flight control towers, air defense depots, logistics warehouses, and equipment depots at Al Dhafra airbase, Al-Udairi helicopter airbase, Ali al-Salem base, and Sheikh Issa airbase.
A range of precision-strike ballistic and cruise missiles with new warheads as well as destruction drones were used to hit the targets, the IRGC stated.
Satellite images indicate that the Iranian Armed Forces have destroyed over 80 percent of the US’ strategic radars and the vital and critical sections of American military bases in the region.
The US and the Zionist regime launched a large-scale unprovoked military campaign against Iran following the assassination of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, along with several senior military commanders and civilians on February 28.
The attacks have involved extensive aerial strikes on both military and civilian locations across Iran, causing significant casualties and widespread damage to infrastructure.
In response, the Iranian Armed Forces have carried out retaliatory operations, targeting American and Israeli positions in the occupied territories and at regional bases with waves of missiles and drones.
