World Energy Flow to Feel Impact of Attack on Iran’s Khark, Commander Wars

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Navy Rear Admiral Alireza Tangsiri cautioned against the consequences of a recent US military attack on Iran’s southern Khark island for the global energy market.

Pointing to the US and Israeli military campaign against Iran, Rear Admiral Tangsiri reminded the aggressors of disruption of maritime navigation through the Strait of Hormuz in the aftermath of the war on Iran.

Addressing the enemies, the commander said, “You once tested Iran on the Strait of Hormuz. While the smart control of the strait presented you with a new index of oil price, the attack on Khark will bring about another appalling and new equation regarding the rate and distribution of energy in the world.”

The US and the Israeli regime launched a large-scale unprovoked military campaign against Iran following the assassination of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, along with several senior military commanders and civilians on February 28.

The attacks have involved extensive aerial strikes on both military and civilian locations across Iran, causing significant casualties and widespread damage to infrastructure.

In response, the Iranian Armed Forces have carried out retaliatory operations, targeting American and Israeli positions in the occupied territories and at regional bases with waves of missiles and drones.
