The Intelligence Ministry reported on Saturday that it has captured a ten-member organizational cell of American-Zionist mercenaries, who were planning to carry out activities against national security in cities within the northern province of Mazandaran. These individuals reportedly had a history of attacks on security forces.
Additionally, another cell consisting of ten members, also affiliated with the American-Zionist enemy, was identified and arrested in Khorasan Razavi Province in northeast Iran. This group was said to have engaged in intelligence cooperation with terrorist media linked to the invading enemy.
According to the report, those operatives were transferring the locations of Iranian military sites and certain economic infrastructures to the hostile adversary. Furthermore, with the intent of instilling fear and deterring public participation, they shared the coordinates of various academic and research centers, as well as public places, marking them as potential gathering spots for military forces and equipment to the Zionist regime.
Moreover, members of a three-strong terrorist team, directed by foreign mercenaries, were identified and arrested by intelligence officers in Khuzestan Province in southern Iran. This team had reportedly carried out armed attacks against security forces and several government and public locations, including the governorate of Khuzestan, causing insecurity and panic within Ahvaz. Two AK-47 assault rifles and ammunitions were seized from this group.
