In a statement on Saturday, Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi said USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72), which had long been a symbol of fear and a tool for exploiting Muslim resources, has been rendered operationally inactive due to the strength of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
He characterized this event as a significant “historical defeat” for US military power that will be remembered in the annals of history.
He then cautioned the Muslim countries against placing trust in the United States which he likened to a paper tiger, emphasizing that the US lacks even the capability to defend its own weakened military forces.
Furthermore, he asserted that the US will not be able to ensure the security of Muslim nations and the region.
Addressing the leaders of Muslim countries in the region, the spokesman urged them to place their trust in Islamic Iran and its people.
He called for unity among the Muslim world against infidelity, polytheism, and hypocrisy, particularly in the face of leadership from the US and Zionists.
