IRGC Threatens to Halt Regional Oil Exports in Response to US-Israeli Aggression

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - The spokesperson for the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps warned that Iran may take measures to halt the export of “a single liter of oil” from the region if the ongoing assaults by the US military and the Israeli regime against Iran and its infrastructure continue.

While the unprovoked war of aggression by the US and the Zionist regime against Iran has entered the 10th day, General Ali Mohammad Naeini said on Monday night, “Trump, the lying president of America, has falsely claimed the end of the power of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic to escape the pressure of war and to put an end to the desperation of American soldiers in the region.”

“The criminal Trump, after humiliating defeats in war, is seeking to create achievements in battle, deceive public opinion, and evade psychological pressure. We have seen nothing from Trump but lies. He claims that commercial and military ships are present in the region and are passing easily through the Strait of Hormuz, while US naval vessels, ships, and all fighter jets have retreated over 1,000 kilometers away from Iran's powerful missiles and drones to remain safe,” the general said.

“The cowardly and timid soldiers of Trump's navy have distanced themselves by more than 1,000 kilometers after firing four missiles at the USS Abraham Lincoln,” the spokesman added.

“Trump claims there is a normal and ideal situation for his soldiers in the region while American soldiers have become refugees in the cities of the area with their backpacks after fleeing from American bases, with some taking refuge in hotels,” he stated, adding, “Israeli soldiers have hidden among civilians and urban facilities, creating a human shield for themselves.”

“Trump falsely claimed a reduction and end to Iranian missile launches, while Iranian missiles are now more powerful than at the beginning of the war, being launched with greater payloads and warheads exceeding one ton towards American bases and the Zionist regime,” the IRGC spokesman explained.

“The ongoing ‘alarm to alarm’ situation in the occupied territories and the prolonged sheltering of settlers in bunkers, along with Israeli citizens fleeing at airports, better reflects the reality on the ground,” he said.

“Trump sought to bring the people of Iran to the streets against the Islamic Republic and cause social collapse in Iran, but today he has faced a hard slap from the aware Iranian people on the streets, with anger and revenge from Iranians towards Trump and the criminal Netanyahu spreading,” General Naeini noted.

“Trump attempted to destabilize the Islamic Republic through targeted assassinations of leadership and senior military commanders as quickly and cheaply as possible, but the worthy and powerful election of Iran's Leader and effective management of the war by Iranian military commanders have frustrated and disheartened them, leaving his allies hopeless regarding the possibility of collapsing the Islamic Republic,” the spokesperson added.

“Trump claimed interference in leadership selection according to his filthy desires, but today a revolutionary and anti-American figure has been chosen as the Leader of the Revolution, and dear Khamenei has become younger,” he said.

“Trump started this war with lies to the American people, but now our responses have left him confused and desperate. Before the war, he claimed to control oil prices, while in just the first nine days of conflict, oil prices nearly doubled, and today he is seeking to escape astronomical oil prices for his partners with artificial respiration,” the general said.

“The Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic will not allow a single liter of oil to be exported from the region until further notice due to ongoing aggressions by the US army and the Zionist regime against the Iranian people and service infrastructure. Their floundering attempts to reduce and control oil and gas prices will be temporary and fruitless,” he stated.

“Trump does not want the American people to realize that all US military infrastructure in the Persian Gulf region has been destroyed,” the spokesman stated.

“Nearly 10 advanced US radars have been destroyed across the region. Numerous expensive drones of yours (US) have been destroyed by Iran’s air defense. Our hands are open to escalate the war. Security for all means insecurity for all. It is we who will determine the end of the war,” Naeini added.

“The Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic are waiting for the US naval fleet in the Strait of Hormuz and are anticipating the aircraft carrier USS Gerald Ford. The initiative regarding battlefield conditions and ending the war lies with the Islamic Republic. The equations of the region and its future status are now in the hands of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic. The American forces will not be the ones to end this war,” he warned.

“Trump claims that Iranian missiles have run out and no longer possess destructive power; if he is telling the truth, why does he not allow journalists and media to publish images of impacts and destruction? Why do you hide casualty figures?” he asked Trump.
