“No message has been sent from Iran to the US and Iran will not reply to the messages sent by the American side,” the Iranian official told the Tasnim News Agency on Thursday.
The official reiterated that the Armed Forces of Iran have prepared themselves for a long war.
The statement came after an earlier report by Axios website claiming that Iran has sent message to the US in recent days but has not received an answer.
