Iran Warns of Retaliation against Israeli Threats to Its Embassy in Lebanon

Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi, the senior spokesperson for Iran’s Armed Forces, addressed recent threats by the Israeli regime against Iran’s diplomatic mission in Beirut.

He stated that the criminal regime of Israel has repeatedly demonstrated a disregard for international boundaries and norms in its actions.

Shekarchi emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran, despite possessing significant capabilities, has exercised restraint out of respect for international considerations and its diplomatic relations with countries around the world.

“Apart from the United States and the Israeli regime, Iran maintains no hostility or conflict with any other nation,” Shekarchi noted, underscoring Iran’s commitment to constructive engagement globally.

Warning of Severe Consequences

In a direct response to the Israeli threats, general Shekarchi declared that any attack on Iran’s embassy in Lebanon would compel Iran to consider all Israeli embassies worldwide as legitimate targets.

“If the Zionist regime commits such an act of aggression, we will undoubtedly take reciprocal action,” he stated.

Shekarchi reaffirmed Iran’s determination to bring both the Israeli regime and its primary ally, the United States, “to their knees.”

He concluded by stating that Iran will not waver in its resolve to achieve this objective.
