In a telephone conversation on Sunday, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi and his Iraqi counterpart Fuad Hussein discussed the latest regional and international developments.
The two diplomats reviewed the recent regional and global issues and Araqchi briefed his Iraqi counterpart on developments related to the Iran–US nuclear negotiations.
For his part, Hussein thanked Araqchi for the explanations provided, expressing Iraq’s support for the ongoing diplomatic process and hoping that the current talks would lead to desirable results for Iran and contribute to peace and stability in the region.
